the first few days on them sucked...but after about a week it was still stiff but not as bad. i guesse it had to "settle"..either that or my kidneys are bruised and im about to **** blood. 12k/12k is not as bad as you think tho. handling sure is tighter than a fith grader tho.

Yay! i finally got to the end. all 222 pages worth of FD goodies. time well spent.

anyways, i don't own an RX-7 yet. but i will be getting one on the not too distant future. Currently, i have a Supra(the second sexiest car to come out of japan). I've been a massive fan of the FD RX-7 for many years now and i look forward the countless hours perusing these forums.

cheers for all the pics.
keep up the good work

Love the carbon fiber... not the look, but the idea. Saves a lot of weight.

lol have you ever picked up a stock FD hood, fender or door skin? there's not much weight there to lose... sure carbon is bit lighter, but money is better spent elsewhere on the car imo

plus all the weight he saved with those carbon panels is offset by those heavy *** racing hart wheels

QFT

The S14, S13 and S13 Silvia OEM hoods are WAY heavier than the FD hood. I've had them all, trust me. I'd go CF with the S-chassis, but you don't need it with the FD.

Ya because who wants an RX-7 that's faster, more reliable, easier to work on, and gets better gas mileage.

It truly is. 428 RWHP and I dont have to have a roll back on speed dial anymore.

Thanks for the compliment though.
