Rich, you could have kept the ducts you gave me with the oil coolers I bought from you. I don't have the 99 front and wasn't planning on it, of course now I am though, haha. Very nice pics. I definitely have to get me some Fikse wheels. Damn. I also didn't realize your rear wheels were so wide, or with that much lip either.

Silver Rex

My 94 Typr R parked up in the english countryside. Just finished running it in after rebuild, so took it for a blast this week between rain clouds.

[QUOTE=GoodfellaFD3S]Had a local photoshoot yesterday with my FD and another forum member's black R2---DJF(NJ). My 500R saw 150mph about 4 times too.....at one point made a 60 to 140mph pull in 10 seconds flat

P.S. Before anyone mentions it, I have some newly refurbished R1 oil coolers that are going to be installed soon along with a pair of R-Magic Oil cooler ducts, so I'm getting rid of the stock oil cooler ducts soon.

P.P.S. Neither car was cleaned up before these pics, they had actually just been rained on a bit.

P.P.P.S. Pics taken by my brother, Bridgeported12A

Hey Rich...good to see you again and also meet your brother. Too bad the weather got bad and it started to get late. Your car is awesome! Thanks again for the ride. I cant believe how fast that thing was at barely 14psi!!!! Not to mention how those 275s hold the power down so well!!!! That thing is going to be SICK with tuning and more boost! Take care man.

Those RX-8 wheels really change the look of the 7. They look better than I would have thought. Still not quite my style, but very nice anyway. I assume there was no issue with the offset and lug pattern right? I know they had to cost a fortune. Factory wheels always do. I remember back in the day I wanted to buy new factory wheels for my 90 Z and they were $175 each (about 10 years ago). For that I could have bought Momo's. Nice car Buckman.

Thanks for the comments. Fortunately RX8 wheels for sale are very common in the UK ( especially on ebay ! ) so you can pick up a very good set for around £150 - £200. There are no issues with the fit ,even when lowered like mine. As a I own an RX8 as well it provides me with lots of interchagable spares

Wow Rich. Every time I see pics of your car lately, the one thing I think is how much I love the way your tires look so meaty on your wheels. I don't know if it's the tire size, or the way the wheel makes them sit, but it just looks amazing. They almost look like big meaty racing slicks.

It really makes a good case for 17s as opposed to 18s.

Also, are those your RZ seats? If so really nice, and mega bling so to speak.

Rich and Jio I love and hate both your cars. Once car makes me want to stick with the stock bumper for my black car and another makes me want the 99 front! Both extremely clean, very fine examples of how an FD should be modified properly

Everyone's a critic

Here's what I plan on doing very soon:

remove 99 bumper
remove r1 oil coolers and 93 oem ducts
remove oem horns
remove 99 spec parking light bulbs
install newly refurbished r1 oil coolers along with the proper ducts for the 99 bumper
install and relocate plug-and-play oem nissan horns a la Dale Clark's writeup
install white LED 99 spec parking lights to better match HIDs
reinstall 99 bumper

you happy ?

Thanks for all the compliments on the quality of the photos everyone. It was hard work, but was easy on the eyes . I try to get some ‘interesting’ angles of the cars you don’t see everyday. Kind of makes you appreciate every line and curve on the FD.
