Hey guys. It's great to know you guys still think about this incident and bump it every now and then to get the message across. All of your words mean so much. Aaron_M messaged me on AIM and gave me his condolences and let me know this thread had been brought back up a few more times. Again, I thank all of you for your words.
Sincerely,
Brandon

This is one of the powerful reality checks I've ever seen. I remember reading about this story before, it was one of the reasons I stopped driving so recklessly around mountain / canyon roads.
Brandon, you've got a lot of strength to share such a private and painful story with everyone, but I'm sure you've helped save at least a couple lives by doing so. It seems you've found peace and closure regarding this, I'll bet your dad is proud of you.

ive been on the fourm for a little over a year now and out of all the things ive seen, the stories ive read and everything ive learned, this story definitely has made the biggest impact on me. my FD has been off the road for about 8 months now and wont be back at least for another 6 but i know that when i do get it back on the road there WONT BE ONE TIME that i start to slam that gas pedal and not think about what the end result could possibly be. i am truly sorry for your loss, but you made the best out of it and how have prolly helped so many others you have no idea.
