just a basic 93 rx-7, what should I do???

Hey everyone, I am a proud owner of my first import, a 93 RX-7. This is what I have done so far.... brand new engine from Mazda (13b), rebuilt turbos from Majestic, hks downpipe, midpipe (yes an hks midpipe), hks super dragger exhaust, act clutch, light weight flywheel, hks type 1 timer, evc-4 controller, hks blow off valve to make that silly noice (I guess I like it though) blitz intercooler, hks dual intake, 18" bbs rsii chrome, 295/35r18 rears (yeah, they rub I little tiny bit ), and some other little stuff. Well I just got it running this week, Ya-hooo!! I want to know if I am on the right track and how should I handle the fuel delivery issues that I been hearing a lot about. Because you know that I am going to crank up the boost control. Is the Apexi power fc any good? Or is that a bit much? Upgraded ecu? Additional injectors? Help me out, thanks!!!!

You can get ready for a new motor. Without fuel that motor is done.

So does any one have a recomendation on how I should go about the fuel system, there are so many options, what seems to work the best?

I would turn your boost down to 6 psi if you're gonna be driving around anytime soon. Running a fully opened exhaust, as well as a more efficient intercooler without any type of fuel management will insure boost spikes and blown engines-- Garaunteed, everytime! Get that PFC!! My PFC was one of my very first mods, and is somewhat of a reliability mod. You'll need to tune your PFC on the dyno if you want to be safe and get the most reliable hp.

If you don't get the PFC, then at the very least get an A/F meter and knock sensor so that when your engine blows, it wont be that much of a surprise.

Cool Car in the Movie

But the real car in the movie didn't have NOS....that was just a little movie magic...the real car belongs to a guy (Keith Imoto)that works for Apexi. In fact, he's never Dynoed or run. Just a show car.........but a nice show car! Check it out in September's Super Street mag.
