How to take off exhaust hangers
I was about to replace my exhaust tommorow with a Apexi GT Spec exhaust, and I was wondering what is the best way to take these hangers off and remove the stock exhaust!
Thanks,
Ravi

just use WD40 to lube them up. Dont forget to lube up the bolts on the cat as well. I snapped one of my bolts when installing my GT exhaust this weekend. Pretty easy install...taking off the stock exhaust should be a snap...when putting on the GT exhaust, i found that its easier to start by slipping on the hangar in the middle on the exhaust, and then work your way out and slip on the two hangars at the end of the exhaust

take some WD40 or lithium grease to lube up the holes then just slip them in or out.

Just lube it up, stick it in, and pull it out? Geez, no foreplay? Yup... but I prefer a prybar instead of a screwdriver Mr. DK....

Nah, I like my exhaust holes to be tightly wound w/ no restrictions. Occasionally you get a loose system, but you really just have to work on those types of systems really hard, and really fast. (This thread is getting bad, quick.)
