Gas Mileage

I average the 18 - 20 MPG on the Highway and I live in HUMID Tennessee...Sea Level not a major factor...300 plus miles per tank is cake.... do the math...at 17 miles per gallon if you use 17 of the 20 gallons in the tank...that is 289 miles....

Jeeeezus!!!

I have no idea what you guys got goin' on under the hood that I don't. When I do primarily city driving boostin' around and having fun, and see probably 11mpg on average. Basicaly, my orange light comes on with 4 gallons left, and I'm seeing 180 or so on the odo. On long highway trips, I might see 240.

This on a young engine and all.

I was under the impression these were normal numbers......right?????

sONic.

Alright you guys, I have never seen the light come on and have been down to empty a few times (luckily never running out of gas), but if you look at the temp and water you can see there is a light in there even with the car off, but I can't see that on the gas gauge. I just figured that I didn't have one, like the head light washer. Is it just "hidden" or what. Probably I don't have one.

Average MPG 15-17

You guys are **** or something! I can't believe you never seen the damn fuel light. I don't even think about refueling until it's on, and not just flickering, i mean 'way under E steady on"! This is when the cars the fastest! But we have a gas station every 200 feet here, so perhaps it's your environment and not your fault

I got about 10-12mpg always, never leave the city.

I saw something about Atlanta at the tag office yesterday, it said we drive more miles per day then any other city in the world.. 80 MILLION miles per day!

my car starts to cut out under acceleration when it's really low on fuel, so i figure it is just about out - and I've never seen the light.

I usually get around 17mpg. haven't taken it on any highway trips.

Well I mustve gotten SUPER gas or something this time, because I just got back from a trip, and so far ive gotten 368 miles out of this tank, and I went about 8 miles before I remembered to reset it back to 0. That's a mix of highway driving, 30 minutes at least of stop and go orlando (disney area) traffic, and then driving around Daytona. Oh yeah, I still have about 5-6 gallons left. I cant wait to add up this milage.
Ok, just figured up my milage earlier. I got 22 MPG out of this tank with a mix of highway, stop and go rush hour traffic, and plain city driving. All this with O2 voltage readings a lot of times over 1.01. Oh, and my light just slowly faded on once before I filled up, just over 17 gallons.
