Best intake I have ever had on a stock/street port n/a. If your not scared to cut a hole in you hood, even better.

You have owned 3 Rx7s, you're a do-it-yourselfer, and you want to know what a good exhaust is? Exhaust was my first mod on my n/a and I assume the same for most. Chat lines are meant for discussion. Threads for locating solutions. Searching is always expected because otherwise the solutions get crowded with people talking about generalizations or referencing information they pull from various threads.

I suggest you go here first

Then, read these. I personally went dual Magnaflow and had some exhaust bent for my car from the manifold back. It was cheap, and sounded great! Then someone stole it

Racingbeat - They don't burn up like other mufflers. Buy it here

Apexi N1 - Buy it here

Buy a used RB catback for $300. It's RB - it never goes bad, it sounds awesome, and you can feel the performance increase; there is... No downside. ^_- [It will even weigh less than stock because of the stainless steel mufflers]

I have owned 3, and i have never gotten further than suspension or maintenance.

I thought by asking people what their personal opinion was WAS a discussion. Why is it that everyone on Rx7club are so sensitive? Theres no need for all this extra passive aggressive stuff. Ive read threads, but i like to talk to people, sorry guys.

I havent seen a magnaflow yet in person but ive seen them on vids. What do you mean by bent? Like had a shop carefully bend it to fit?

1988 SE N/A besides suspension, no mods

1) which air intake do you personally like(or if you have quick access to a link with different gains on a dyno chart), the k/n, the powerflow, or is there another i don't know about?

2) being a long time do it yourselfer and owner of 3 7s, what would you believe to be a good deal on a TII? Mileage wise?

So what you're saying is you don't want to do any research work and have anyone else do research work for you? But you're allowing anyone who has already had discussions like this off the hook for responding? How good of you. Talk about a lazy man trying to paint a picture that he isn't lazy. And to all that bought into it..............

Regardless, here is something that will for sure answer your question: http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...icah-gif-1.gif

Dunno about you guys, but the most I'm going to be able to do with my car is change the intake filter with a drop in. Running a stock class for scca and stuff like a total change over would bump me up in class. the car is already slow enough as it is in its current form, but it's fun as hell to drive.

I never said i didn't already look around man....i just wanted to get other opinions. I understand stuff gets annoying when you see the same posts, but not everyone sees the same posts as the people who have been on here as long as most. Half the people that respond don't say anything except what the thread is about and the other half HAS to scream SEARCH!!! Not like anyone is getting post messaged. All im saying for the last time is I JUST WANNA HAVE A DISCUSSION WITH MY OWN QUESTIONS. Its like trying to read someone elses notes for a test.

But it's the same people answering the same questions. If you search you will find a thousand answers on this topic, which will most likely answer the stupid questions your asking.

Hers a pic of my setup. I like the good ol' Filter cone, but my motor has been rebuil, Street ported, removed emissions, full header-back exhaust. It made a significant difference, but there again, its a built motor.

This is how I did it.
Performance was not the primary objective but I noticed no appreciable degradation, so I consider it a success.
