Your Fix for Sad FC Seats?
Good morning folks,
I've been driving mazda's for many year but I'm about to make my first jump into the world of rotary cars. The vehicle I am set to purchase is in pretty good shape with a very good interior - accept for those seats. Currently the seats have a cheap set of seat covers on them because the previous owner couldnt source a decent set of stock replacements.
I'm looking to get an idea of what others here have done in this situation. I did a lot of searching and some people reported finding very expensive upholstery kits but that sounded as expensive as getting into new after market seats.
I'm wondering if:
1- is there a good source for used parts members have used to get some decent replacement seats?
2- is there a favorite after market seat (make and model) among the community that fits well in the FC that folks are using?
Thanks for your time and your comments,
-m

I guess it depends on what you think is expensive-I went to leatherseats.com to get new leather. At the time that was about $500, my seats and foam were in good shape the leather was dried out and torn.
Most used RX-7 seats you'll find will be worn also, most aftermarket seats are in the "you get what you pay for" catagory.
