Yay for Corksport (FMIC)
I know I'm not online too often as of late, but today I did my regular check of prices and sites and stumbled upon Corksport (as always, one of my favorites) and I seen this:

A reasonably priced FMIC that doesn't require you to rape your bumper, looks good as far as I can tell. AND it gives you the stuff for a mini-battery. I hope it performs well too. I'm going to finish up some things so I can buy this kit and be the test mule. I'm happy we just have an alternative outside of Greddy and HKS (with premade units).
Anyhow, what do you all think? Or am I just giddy over a *new* product for our cars?

So they took one of those <$100 Made-In-China eBay IC cores and made their own IC kit?
Did you know that GReddy already offers their M-Spec FMIC kit that's about the same price?
Hmm...nothing really to get excited about...

The one nice thing is that the Corksport kit comes with a shorter battery tray for use with (presumably) and Odessey battery. Which means you don't have to relocate........only buy the multi-hundred dollar battery

Yeah, not for the FC, but it's priced under $500...

This may seem like dumb questions but: Do you have to discard the fiberglass bumper to go front mount? With this kit? If so, are there kits that you don't have to?
Also, by Odessey battery do you mean for a Honda Odyssey?

The HKS intercooler seems ok, but like everyone else, I usually look at whatever is less expensive at first. I'll see how it goes when that time comes. I just want a setup that fits well, and works.

Because I like bolt in affairs. I don't mind fabricating things, but most of the time the eBay core sucks and the piping can be lame. 95% of the time the 'custom' built setups look like ****.
What's wrong with buying premade kits?
