WTF? Can't shoot flames!
After installing my RB DP and MP and my CS catback, I took my car out last night onto some backroads and tried my heart out to shoot a flame. Nothing. I tried high rpm downshifts, going to redline, letting off and then flooring it again.....I did a search and tried everything I could find, but nothing worked.
Anyone know why, or maybe a surefire technique they have??
Thanks,
Nima

There was a recent Thread on "shooting flames on demand". Search button yields tons of flame shooting. Search under "shoot flames" I.e https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...t=SHOOT+FLAMES

quick lesson for "on demand flames" accelerate hard past 3500rpm(preferable in 2nd or 3rd gear) let off throttle, but rest your foot on the pedal so that you are pushing the gas a tiny bit. as the rpms drop you should get a flame. sometimes it helps me to go as high as 5krpm.
ps-these instructions are for a T2 but i think they might work on N/A models as well.

I got a couple good flames from the following.
Drive car at 4000rpm just enough to have the secondary injectors firing, drive at that rpm for awhile then punch the gas to just before redline and let off.
There is no guarantee that your not shooting flames nima. not all flames are as big as Soloracer, Max and Chris have thrown some nice flammage and never even noticed so.....

I'm shooting them with my stock BOV open vented, but once I put on a check valve it doesn't shoot them. The way I found to do it was get the seconds online, then back off a little so you're still slightly on the gas. I somehow fired off about 10 flames in a row like that last night. Sounded like a gatling gun alternating between my tailpipes
