WTF?!?! Boost falling off

WTF?!?! Boost falling off
This is the wierdest thing, as my revs increase, my boost falls off! I start at about 8 PSI, and as revs approach 5-6000 it drops to 5! And I was solid 8psi last night?
What in the hell is this all about?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Get/read/understand Corky Bell's book on turbocharging called "Maximum Boost." There are all kinds of reasons the boost drops off. You'll be a Turbo Yoda after you read that book. It's at Amazon.com. Good luck!

Okay, I suppose you little snipes are missing the ENTIRE POINT OF THIS THREAD!
I understand the basic concept of the turbo, and I may have some idea of what may be wrong.
I just wanted some advice as to where to look (ie FC specific). And maybe someone here could relate a personal experience and eliminate hours of guesswork and research.

Good Luck.

Its real simple... If you dont want to provide assistance, move the **** on.. I didnt ask for your attitude. If you want to be a productive member of the club, then by all means, provide some constructive suggestions. Otherwise, go ******* troll somewhere else.

But just as likely as exhaust leaks, you probably have pressure leaks in your intercooler piping, or several other design limitations in the system. Nothing personal, though. I don't feel like writing chapter to you on all the things it could be. After all, I only have a handful of posts...

If you are as knowledgeable as you profess to be, then maybe you can distinguish yourself from the rest of the kiddies and be helpful. Jumping into a flame war with A low post count only labels you as another pre-teen keyboard racer with some sort of Oedipus complex.

Jarrett, say if you hold the RPMs high at, say, 4k, does the boost stay steady? Is the boost drop directly proportional to RPM? Does it lose boost the same way each time? Any differences between hot and cold?
