I don't get it
If you want a TII hard top, just buy a TII. There are plenty around. What would a GTU with a TII retro-fit have over a TII period?
If you want a TII Vert, you have to make one.
Therefore, only one answer. TII Vert.
Which would have more resale value? A GTU with a TII drivetrane or a TII Vert.
A TII Vert.
Therefore, again, only one answer. A TII Vert.
I rest my case.

if you are planning on selling the car why even bother buying one
and belive me you wont get one you invested in making SHAMU a little bit quicker by swapping the driveline

the verts are heavy yes, but they arent so heavy that power cant make them fast. it wouldnt be THAT off a T2 times with the same mods. i think it would be fairly easy to get one into the 12s or lower. and verts do not look gay! how can you be a RX7 enthusiast and think one of your own kind looks gay? doesnt make sense. your entitled to your opinion but dont go around attacking the vert.

I have a vert with 39k on original engine. Once it goes out and if i still have it, i will look for a turbo II engine to swap it out. Along with all the other parts i need. I will also do a auto to manual swap too.

brap brap
I dunno. I've already seen a GTU with a t2 in it...
I guess I'd chose the vert. It'd be a thriller sleeper. Besides putting a t2 in a vert, I would love to see a 3 or 4-rotor in there.... wonder if it could be done!?

If that were the case, why are there Car's for Sale sections in the newspaper, or on this Forum for that matter?
And, as far as 2nd Gen's are concerned, all things being equal, you'll get several thousand $ more for a TII Vert than a regular TII.
Nuff said.
