would a bad thermostat cause the add coolant buzzer to go off thanks

Have you checked your coolant level? The buzzer is triggered by a lack of coolant. The sensor is at the top of the radiator and has one wire. Check the wire to see if its still intact. Theres also a buzzer for low oil.

check around the AFM and filter box for any shorts in that wire.

No, because the thermostat has no effect on coolant level.

And you only need one thread per topic. This question should've been asked in your first thread. Expect them to be merged...

yeah man that is anoying the stupid buzzer that u just cant find!!!
its the thermostat man....
take it out, put some of that good n always usefull w-d40 on it clean it nice n neat and uh the buzzing will go away
if not just geta brand new one
the stupid buzer!!!
