Won't stay running below 3k rpms
Ok here's the deal. I swapped out my bad alternator last night. I took off the TMIC so I could have easier access to the alternator wires and what not. Prior to this I could jump start the car and it would run fine and idle at its usual spot. Now after I swapped in my new alt and put my IC back on it won't run below 3000rpms. If I mess w/ the throttle a lot and keep the revs high it runs, but rough, and makes lotsa back fires etc. Its behaving as if I have a huge vaccum leak, but I ripped off the IC again after it did that and checked for disconnected hoses, and put the IC back on and tightened up the clamps real well and it still wouldn't run. AFM, TPS, CAS, air and water temp sensors are connected. Any ideas? I'm at a loss, and I dunno why the hell its doing this. It would run perfectly b4 and now it runs for **** if it all.

Could someone show me where the brake booster line on the UIM is? I thought the only like that ran over to that was one from the charcoal canisted over to a metal line across the firewall? Then a small, large diameter hose a few inches long at the booster itself...

I think he is talking about the line that goes to the LIM, which I understand. I dont know if he just mis-typed, or there is a line that I cannot think of right now. If you follow the line from the brake booster, it goes along the firewall, then turns down and goes to a banjo fitting on the side of the LIM. At least on S4 N/As anyway..
