Wont boost past 4k

Wont boost past 4k

i have an 88 t2 and it wont boost past 4k at wot. tps is good checked the ground under the manifold (even ran another wire to the ground to the neg battery terminal) i have a fcd. am i missing any steps?

define wont boost, does it fall on its face? do the rpms no longer go up? do the rpms go up but the boost goes back to 0?

About 4k under wot the boost builds but the car sputters and back fires

hmm sounds like your secondaries arent kicking in i had the same problem.

**** all of that this is how you fix your hesitation on your t2 threads. the best way to fix hesitation on any t2 is to switch over to a s5 turbine housing or delete the twin scroll on the s4 and port match both hotside runners. i promise you the fc felt like it had the response of a bb turbo. general rule to the FC "the more you remove the faster it gets"

haha well i have a bnr stage 4 turbo that i want to put on but i want to have supporting mods first

ya but it runs fine before 4k maybe my injectors are clogged?

no cat on the 7 i ran another ground on the car so lets see what happens

didnt fix the problem, pulled the injectors two of them didnt have fuel residue so im guessing there clogged going to get them cleaned

FOUND THE PROBLEM!!!

2 of my injectors are bad another is intermittent, just have to find new ones to confirm the problem is fixed.
