Wiper switch problem after buying rebuilt one.
Ok so, after the oh so popular wiper switch failure. I purchased a rebuilt switch from 13betc. Installed the switch with success. Maybe 2 weeks in... randomly my wipers turn on full HI (wiper switch position still off). I play around trying every switch position... Nothing, no position turns them off. I had to pull the 15amp fuse to shut the damn things off.
Now, question is... Am I back to square one? is this switch now bad?
I tried contacting (Jan 16th) Curtis at 13betc with the described above info but no reply yet.
Pretty shitty seeing as that rebuilt switch cost me 210$ CDN and still haven't received my core charge refund either (but thats a whole other issue).
Anyways, just wondering if anyone can chime in on the issue
thanks

contact them to send it back for repair, sounds like your relay contacts got fused and the relay is stuck in the on position, which is not very difficult since this is a 2 way rocker style mini relay that is already doing more work than it should have to.
if it was merely a park issue i would say it could be your motor, but not if your switch is stuck at a single output state.

Ok that makes sense. I've tried contacting them with no luck at all. Even found him on the forum here and for some reason I cant PM him.
I love playing games trying to contact people

Have a similar issue where a one speed switch was swapped with a confirmed working switch and now has issues where the arms either dont move or when they do, the driver is slower than the pass. Figured since it was relevant id just add on to this thread.
