Full throttle on all turns
No for real, just lay off of the throttle (or take it lightly in a higher gear) around the corners. NEVER downshift when on snow or ice unless you rev match perfectly.
MAKE sure you have good tires, they make the most difference. It will NOT drive like a typical RWD car sicnce it's 50/50 wieght. Instead of spinning around the engine (front) like normal, alot of the loss of control makes the car go sideways instdea of 360.
but yeah, good tires and a little caution will do just fine.

PS --Oh yeah, you better get it washed every week... don't wanna see any RX-7's out there with rust on em .

Under coat like a motha f***er. Never had to drive my car in the winter so not quite sure on any tips but I would definetly try not to go over 4000rpm in any gear.

Try moving from AL to Ontario and you'll see why people are afraid of winter.
My suggestion, get a beater K-car or old ford or civic. It'll be cheaper on insurance, gas and you don't have to worry about stuff like this. Plus you'll have a few nice months to do whatever crazy mods you want without worry of not having a daily driver.

I drove a 88 GXL two winters ago. Made it around fine. It was interesting when it got really slick, a few times I was going sideways uphills on the power.
Oh, Boosted Rotors, how could you? That hurt.
