Arrow Will this water injection kit work on my fc?

Guy I am scared I may ahve screwed up. I bought an old but still new Holley water injection kit on ebay, i was just reading through the install and i see this:

"Holley part number......is set at 6 inches of vacuum and has been designed for 1971 and later passenger vehicles... with lower compression engines which do not have electronic spark retard control""

So will I be able to use this or not?

do you have any more info on this kit than that?

by the sounds of it you may have to do some mods to get a proper timing signal for the system....but Ive never heard/seen the particular system in question so more info would be sweet....

I dont really have any more info than that, its holley part number 19-1.

Its an older kit made for carburated sytems so im gonna buy a proper injection nozzle and better quality hose, but im unsure about what they consider low or high compression.

Whats the size of the delivery nozzle? Whats the line pressure of the system? What are your goals? If you want to just add water to the top of the mixture for some knock protection, then you need careful metering and precise control of your delivery system. Reason being is, that if you inject too much you will lose power and potentially blow the spark out. Unfortunately, water injection (or any other type), is not "plug and play".

Thats the problem Im having with this kit. It does nto give me any specific info on when it will come on, the flow rate of the nozzle, nothing. Im just gonen order the appropriate nozzle from coolingmist(they size it for your goals) and then im gonna get a boost activating switch from ebay so i can better control it.
