Will a V-AFC work?

I posted this once before, but no one really knew.
I am assuming the V-afc is the exact same as the S-AFC, exept with the additionaly vtec controller.
Will a v-afc work just the same in an rx-7? (Of course, not hooking up the vtec function)
There are just a lot of used V-AFC's out there, some for decent prices. So if I see one for cheap, I though, why not?
Will it work?
BTW- if anyone is selling a digital S-AFC, I'll buy it for 225 or so!
Thanks
Dan

they'll work. I've seen them hooked on 180sx's and silvia's here, so it stands that they'll work on fc's/fd's.
