Will s5 engine go with s4 tranny?
I have a 91 s5 engine that I am putting in a s4 body (tranny still in the car). I know that I will need an s5 engine harness but what else do I need to make the transfer successful? Will the engine even fit to the tranny? O and Ive been looking for a new clutch. Doea ACT make clutches for rx7's and would I need an s4 clutch or an s5? Thanks alot guys.

As far as I know the s4 s5 trannies are the same. The only difference is between the n/a and t2 trannies. You could go with s4 or a s5 clutch np, if the bolt patterns match up with the s5 flywheel. Just keep the s5 flywheel because its weighted correctly for the engine.

Sure.
In fact, you can slap together almost any 12A / 13B / 20B made in the last 3 decades!![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
ACT should have a part number for you - the S4 versus S5 maybe even the same part number???

which part is the slave cylinder? sorry havnt had anything apart on it yet... Do I have to have the s5 engine harness on it to make it work properly or with the s4 ecu and wiring do the job? Since the engine revs upto 8000 on the s5 and only 7000 on the s4 will having an s4 engine harness limit my revving capabilities?
