Wierd question...can fuel cut cause coolant to overflow?

Is there any way that when overboosting on a stock ECU and fuel cut is encountered, it can cause to engine to spit coolant into the overflow tank momentarily? Perhaps something to do with the sudden loss of power to the water pump? Is this even possible?

no the water pump doesn't lose power... its still spinning at 8,000 RPM's or whatever...
Are you sure it's only overflowing when you hit fuel cut?
