he's oging to need to talk a lot of **** and convince the others not to race.....or look like a shmuck. You're going to have a sick-looking NA and nothing to back it up with. You'd better start looking for more power.

My car doesn't have the rx7 or mazda badges on it, so no one wants to race me...

Don't listen to em man. Everything takes time to get done right. Looks good. The only thing I would agree with is haven the power to back up those monster wheels in the back. Nice car.

Hey im in process of 89 gtu's restore...
she needs little body work and new paint . Im curious how many gallons did it take to paint you whole car? And was it single stage or 2 stage spray job?
It's alot cheaper if you buy your own paint...

uh, you can fit those on a STOCK fendered FC.
like a 245 front on a +30 wheel and a 275 rear on a +35 wheel

hey it looks good, kinda silly without wider front fenders, you coulda had some for $300 shipped, probably just $200 if you bought them with your rear flares and saved on shipping... plus you can fit much tire under a FC stock front fender... and aftermarket wide front fenders bolt right up, theyre easier to install then rear flares! oh well, at least you saved the car, NICE WORK! now save up and get some wider front fenders or at least the Panspeed style flares, please! then you can fit a 265 or 255 up front!

I have the 30mm rear flares on my FC and I run a 285/40RZ17 on a 17x10+25 wheel. These fit perfectly and I have a 1/4" clearance to the trailing arm and fender lip. Its too bad they dont make any inexpensive 17x11 wheels (although some Mustang 17x10.5 wheels will fit) and there arent any 295 or 305 wide tires in 17" (but there are a few nice 295 wide tires in 18") and I think you need a 50mm flare to fit a 315 or 335 out back.

so back on topic, you bought wheels? what wheels? pics?
the black paint looks GREAT for the price, good deal man!
