Why not 6 Port???
From what i understand, not very many people bridgeport 6 port 13b's... Why not? can't you just remove the 5th and 6th port sleeves? Reason being, i have a spare 13b stock with 160,000 miles (ouch) and it really doesnt have a thing wrong with it.. I thought about building a work bench at the barracks here hehe and taking it apart for fun (if i have time after the 10 hour days i work).
Also, Tito at alamo rotary told me i couldnt remove the rat's nest on my 1988 N/A, why's that? I removed the air pump, the air conditioning, the EGR, and the cold start mechanism (subzero starting injection??).
Anyways, a long story short, i bought an engine from a company and spent long hard hours dropping it in to my car, not knowing too much of a difference between S5 short blocks and S4's, until it didnt run right. I took it to this shop in san antonio, and they ran a compression test on her and eeeeeeeeek 70psi all the way around on the #1 rotor, and like 23psi,15psi,34psi on #2!!
Its supposed to have new housings too.... So anyway, they tore it out and come to find out it has TII housings (which i dont mind at all :-)), Also has S5 intermediate and side housings, also it has a Turbo II front cover.
So they shipped the engine back to the builders today, and they are going to be looking at it and build me a new one hopefully...
For the time it was running, it was running rough as hell, but it was shooting some large flames out of my new headers (timing was off also)
New engine on the way woooohooo....
Do large street ports sound similair as far as the loping sound that B-ports do??
brap brap brap.....
Thanks

Well most people here atleast don't like to spend mone on N/a's. Being that 6- ports are all N/a unless turbo'd like Aaron's people say it is cheaper to go turbo than highly mod an N/a. I am personally thinking about an auxilary bridge port slapped together with a medium street port. But I don't know yet. I rather like the sound of the N/a to the TII's and turbo B's but I am not really the normal kind of guy. ![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
