ted i'm not gonna fight with you over this, i know what i had and i know how i tested, and i did test it properly because i have a fsm. and even though it was in spec it was still bad so how do you explain that?

the reason i'm pissed is because you're trying to call me liar when i KNOW what i had and i know what it tested like, and it was in spec, but it was still bad. you're all the way down there in surfer land cracking coconuts with torque wrenches, i don't believe you can tell what my tps read from 3000 miles away. and just to clear up any confusion you may have had about my post when i was talking about 6k, i was talking about 6000 rpm.

Probably not at idle, but it would indicate a crapped out TPS and would need to be replaced regardless.

Hurm....
I had a problem with mine recently where the clamp was broken, probably with a stripped gear or something, it wasn't obvious but it still acted like it was tight. It would be fine under normal driving... no boost leak whatsoever, no stumble, no nothing, but once the engine got hot from running it hard, then it would start leaking.

After 3 or 4 tries at tightening it, then the engine cooling down and trying again, I finally replaced the questionable clamp and the problem went away.

If you haven't replaced your hose clamps recently you might want to take a closer look at them.

Ok hurm.
I finally got around to checkin on this today. I replaced the fuel filter, only managed to down about a gallong of fuel while doing so . Got that all switched and primed. Took it for a test after it warmed up and BOOM its still there.
Soo I pulled the pressure sensor, car barly ran when I steped on it, but I managed to get it to 6k, and it wouldnt go any further.

10psi is damn fun, but what the hell is the wall comming from?
