Stock here...
Had a chance to drive a 240 with some body lightning, and alot of suspension work... wow... I thought my car handled good!!!!
After the supercharger, suspension is my number one priority.

I've been focusing on maximizing the cars handling before trying to boost power. From what I understand NA FC's aren't much good for it. The drivetrain is too weak. Turbo cars would be a better all around project but after driving around a NA 280 ZX which have the same powertrain as a turbo ZX I can see why the NA FC's can take advantage of weight savings to do best with what they have. An NA car with a well set up suspension should be just as fast as a turbo on a touge course. In my opinion I think its best to enhance a cars strengths before its weaknesses. So far I've added ground control height-adjustable springs, Mazdatrix on-car-adjustable rear camber links, 55 series tires, Energy Suspension busings and Racing Beat rear-toe-elliminators. Compared to the feeling of the stock setup its a vast improvement. The car inspires more confidence because it's more predictable at the limit. There is none of that floaty unsettled feeling anymore. I'm not saying it couldn't get better. I want to upgrade the struts, swabars and sway bar endlinks before I move on to engine upgrades.

Any advice for less body roll w/o messing wit the shocks ??

It will however make the car feel a little better by responding to your movements faster. I don't know the ideal sway bar combinations of these cars yet, so I can't make a suggestion on what setup to use. I'm sure someone will chime in on this.
If you are short on money and you want to build up a suspension, I would definatly upgrade sway bars or at least the bushings, but don't neglect your struts or springs.
