WHo else has an NRG short hub adapter and does it have play?

Here is a video of my play: Rx7 fc3s 1988 NRG short hub steering wheel play - YouTube

easier to see it in the second half of the video.

Shroud is cut for the white part of the short hub to not rub, and in this video I tried taking out the turn signal cancellation ring, with no improvement whatsoever, almost seems worse without the ring. Feel like it is rubbing on the shroud again now with the whole black ring of the short hub, so friday ill pull the shroud off again and see if thats any better but I doubt it, seems like it has tons of play as you can see.

Any ideas?

I ran the short hub on my DSM. No issues. Is the nut "completely" tightened? That is the only thing that should be holding it on. O_o.

Yes the nut is tightened down far enough, If I keep going it will mess up the steering.
