i know this is probly a stupid question.

i'm a toyota guy but i love the rx7. i know a good amount about the fd but can find little to no info on the fc other than initial d crap. i'm guessing the 2nd gen 7 is very similar to the mk3 supra in that information on the car is left in the dust due to the 3rd gen and how much people want those and not the old style.

my question is did they have a white package 2nd gen rx7 (like the white package mk3 supra) and if so what were the options that came with it. the reason i ask is because i found an all white rx7 tII for sale and i do not know if it was painted like that from the factory or if it was done at a later time.

 

Oh they came in all white exterior all right, from what I have seen they are usually the 10th ana. ones like the one at the top of the board. As for what options ecactly came with these things read the sticly at the top of this forum detailing what options were avalible and IIRC there are some brochure scans in there too.

if by "White Package" you mean : white rims, and white rear light surrounds and special badging....then no......that is a 10th anniversary edition TII. I assume you don't mean a regular RX7 in white.

 

by white package i mean white rims and white trim. as if the car was just dipped in white-out or as if it was a ghost. i've also heard it refered to as ghost package. the supra doesn't have any special badging on it that says white package on it so i wouldn't think the 7 would either. the 7 at the top of the screen does have white trim but the rims were painted white when he got the car repainted.

 

That's the 10th Anniversary edition Turbo II.........it comes with special badges and the bodycolor trim and rims and some commemorative interior pieces like the steering wheel center cap thing and mats..

 

That's a 10th AE but with the wrong rims...the original 10th AE came with white rims.

 

was it possible to get an all white (white trim and white rims) in any other year other than 88.

 

no.....and it had to be a TII. you can get bologna slicer rims and paint them and get some S4(86-88) taillights if you wanted to make your own.

 

so how much should i ask for this car. i don't know milage

 

we need more info on the car......are all the parts there? the floor mats, badges, rims? Is the car in good shape? How many miles? How is the body? interior? do a Carfax, let us know.

OK the 10th AE's are

-White exterioir.
-Bronze tinted windows
-Has a rotor anniversary badge on the fender righ tin front of the doors.
-has white painted rims
-Is the only 86-88 RX7 with Black interioir
-Has a momo steering wheel with badge
and shift ****.
-Leather seats
-special floor mats(right?)

It is basically a normal Turbo model but has some special features to commemorate the rotary. It still hs the same turbo series 4 180hp motor.

I think there were only 1500 made.

It is not uncommon for parts to be missing.

My friends AE has 3rd gen rims and the fender badges were stolen.

If it does not have a turbo hood(has a scoop in it)
Then it is just a regular non turbo Rx7.
