WHITE FOAM, Thinning oil mixed with gas, solution?
SO!
1. The oil in the dipstick is VERY thin. It smells remotely like gas.
2. There is a white foamlike substance building in the neck of the oil filler(where the oil goes in).
3. It smokes a bit after start,(for 2 min. or so, non after that) about 40degrees outside.
4. Probably due to the thinning oil, the oil pressure gauge does not move. It moved previously to 30ish at idle when I started it a week ago.
5. Guyser test showed there is no significant damage on the coolant seals.
I hear that white foam is from condensation. And gas entering the oil is normal. Since I have not driven the car for like 2 wks, except for little 10-15min. trips, the moisture built up to cause the foam is what I searched.
One guys suggested that it would be ok if you change your oil every 2000 miles.
but!
is there any way to fix this phenomenon?
thanks for your help guys,
Shin k

well for one short trips are not good for any enginge much less a rotary. my car had been sitting for over 4 months. and every time i started it about once a month it had oil pressure. you should get a manuall gauge and hook it up to where the oil sending unit is, its right below the oil filter, you need to remove this rould thing with one wire coming off of it. go to auto zone or some where and buy a manuall oil presure gauge,it should come with some fittings find the right size and thread pitch that will work with your car and screw it in the hole you removed the round thing from. tighten all the fittings and start the car and look at that gauge if there is no oil presure SHUT IT OFF! and find out why. if there is,try getting a diff sendding unit(the round thing), now about the "thinning oil" that isnt good. oil needs to be a cirtain concistancy to protect the engine tis may also be the cause of the low/no oil presure. before all else try changing your oil. its cheap and easy. good luck.

I had the same problem, doesn't seem to do anything though i discovered that my car was getting very little oil because of breaking oil lines. I started premixing instead, car runs better.
