White Face Indiglo Gauge Install?

Has anyone here done this before? Alright I have everything done except connecting these 2 wires. A red and a black one. What wires do I tap into to make them work?

I have these:

they look just like stock, but inverted. the hardest part of the install was connecting the speedo cable. There should be a switched contact for the lights in the wiring connector for the headlight switch you can tap into. check the fsm or haynes manual for the actual pin, i cant remember off teh top of my head

Hey buddy, just take your multimeter and look for some power wires underneath the dash i used the ignition wire so whenever the key is set to "on" the gauges are on! and the black one connect to a ground of your choice, i just made myself a ground with some of the bolts on the fire wall... Basically wherever you can get power will be fine, unless you start popping fuses.

I read it but dont understand what exact wires to tap into on the plug that goes into the headlight switch. Is it the solid red and solid black wires? All the rest have a srtipe going through them.

Looking into the pins clip up.

Top right 3pins to left red with blue stripe gets red wire. Directly under this 4 pins from right black wire gets black wire. On large terminal clip goes to headlight switch.

Next time little more effort and less hand out.

Thanks but you didn't need to add that smartass remark. I mean I understand where your coming from about the hand out and all but I really don't have time to putz around. I really wish I had the time to sit and figure it out myself but im to busy at the moment. Thanks again!

Ha, I installed those and I'm still off by like 4 mph, )holes weren't straight and I didn't bother checking). You could always do something clever like wiring them into the horn, then just look at the other persons face when they see them turn on, but when you get tired of that then yea I just wired them into the one that raises the headlights. They could get really hard to read if you read them during the day wiring them to the on switch.

they don't really dim. I had them, and i tried the same thing. They just make a buzzing noise and go out, they work like florescent lights.

Just wire them into the lightswitch power, make sure to splice power out, not power in. I made that mistake once. In my honda I wired a toggle switch up spliced off of the ignition, so I could choose to turn them off at night and just rely on the ambient lights, those glow gauges can be pretty blinding on a dark road, that why I don't use 'm anymore.
