where should i start?

well i got two t2 one is my parts car that im gonna use for my na to t2 swap so all i need is the motor and five lug, tranny, rearend, and half shalfs, then my wifes car is already na to t2 swapped but not very cleanly done at all, so im needing to know really where to start to get her running?

lol sorry at work at to make it quick but it has stuff missing i think and of course wont start i have a parts car so parts arnt really an issue yet but should i just pull the motor and clean it up and see whats there and not there i guess
