Where to get vacuum?

sorry people, last question tonight -

Is vacuum vacuum all across the engine bay? I mean do they all supply the same vacuum no matter which hose (theoretically) if they don't leak?

After blocking off my ACV, the BOV needs a vacuum source. I've got that steel rack holding 3 vacuum nipples 2 of which went to the ACv and need to be capped off. Can I run one of those to the BOV? I think I should but want to be sure.

Vacuum is vacuum is vacuum right?

No, some of them run into switching solenoid that'll mess everything up.&nbsp Also, there are fittings that run before the throttle plates and those that run after the throttle plates - you need to tap into AFTER the throttle plates.&nbsp Just "T" into the same line the boost sensor - this is probably the easiest method to do...

Of those three, two are pressure. One was coming out of the acv and had airpump pressure. It went to the relief solenoid and when the relief solenoid opened routed that air back to the acv to another port on the acv. The third of the three was a vacuum from the switching solenoid. So that would have cycles on and off. Just some trivia to entertain.

appreciated!

I'm wondering how bad I woulda f*cked my turbo applying pressure and holding the BOV closed. Of course my pump is gone so I don't think I could have had anything there... but a cycling vacuum would have made for some interesting noises coming off boost!
