Hi, actually this topic has been covered nearly other day, so searching can get you opinions on what shifter. But Ill still provide you with a small list.

http://www.mazdatrix.com
http://fc3spro.org
http://www.ebay.com (C's short shifter may be there)
Mazdaspeed
Mazdaracing

And the faq has a DIY version.

the people who owned my RX-7 before me put in a short shifter, but it shakes like crazy... its so lose that it feels like its not attached.... what could be wrong with it?

p.s. I know this is a little off topic for this thread, but figured i would ask in here so i didn't have to clutter up the forum with another thread....

Order replacement bushings from Mazdatrix and replace the shifter bushings. It takes only 20 minutes or so, but it feels like it's a brand new car once you're done!

I have the mazdaracing one, its a VERY short throw and usually requires some effort, but I love the feel of it.
