Where does this sensor go?

Its near the starter. Don't know where to bolt it to

its hard to see in your picture, but that looks like a condensor, and it gets grounded/mounted to the motor on any available bolt

I've HEARD it is for keeping the radio from getting interference from a dirty signal, or something similar.

I've seen it attached to random tranny bolts most of the time.

Mine is attached on one of the slave cylinder's bolt, but I dunno its function...

Then you heard wrong.

Its as icemark said, condensor for the oil pressure guage and sensor circuit. Nothing more, nothing less.
