Where does this hose goe (with pic)
I was recently snooping around my engine bay to find the source of a hissing sound at higher rpms. I looked behind the drivers side and felt some hoses for snugness. They where all good, but then I found one that wasn't attached to anything. Before connecting it to where I think it goes, I wanted to see what it was for and if it really goes there. Thanks in advance.

I apologize for misspelling go, I just want to fix this problem. I usually follow my instinct, but this time It looks like the hose is too long to go where I thought it should and there is a threaded place in the engine where it could reach. The only problem is that there is nothing threaded into where it should be and it is in a really hard to get to spot (see picture)
Please help.

So its good that I asked. The hose was just laying there connected to nothing. I cant really see anything besides the picture above that it could attach to. Would another picture help that would show the exact position of the hose?

i think the end you have in your hand goes to the purge control valve or under the oil pedestal.

The end that you have goes under the fuel lines to the oil filler tube at the rear, very hard to get to and see otherwise I would post a pic. You may have to take some time to take things apart to reatach it.

Ok, I found where it goes, thanks for the help guys. Unfortunately I cant get to it, mainly because of the oil filter. I will change my oil this weekend anyways, but is it bad for my engine to drive it until then?

Ya its in that area, you have to really look for it (its probably coverd with grime) and once you find it I would recomend using a needle nosed pliers or wrench to shimy it on there.
