Where to buy the OEM Oil Filter?

besides the obvious dealer choice, i know there's some web sites that sell them. the dealer down here is some what... well, not the best. they say they even stop working on rx-7's all together even though they have rx-8's, hah. so ya, where can you buy one? i remember being able to google it, but now i can't find it at all.

thanks.

The Mazda dealership by my house usually has them in stock... You should just call and find out?

That doesn't matter, the oil filter isn't specific to the RX-7. The same filter is fitted to a range of Mazda cars, so they always have them in stock.

Tell them it is for a Miata. The Miata uses the same filter (as do all under 2.0 Mazda engines).

Translation, the one "rotary guy" is busy with all the '8s, and doesn't have time for '7s (and is probably happy to never again see a 3rd gen with boost issues). :-)
