The motor runs prefectly (it should for less than 10K on a rebuild). I removed it so that I could clean it and the engine bay easier, and do full fluid changes and another oil cooler flush.
I am a fanatic about my winter storage, and how well I keep things clean.
Obviously, I would reinstall the motor and trans before selling it.

I been kinda thinking of going FD for a while now. In which case, I would give up on the current project and sell the car, with current engine reinstalled.

Driving a 91 white TII with black interior no leather 72k miles. completed modded(K&D Rotary) except for the big step(turbo/intercooler). I'll be selling once I get the ***** to go for the FD.

yea...
Yea these S5's are hard to find...
Took me 3 months to find my '89 Turbo II.
And even then I paid $5000 US for it, 180,000 miles on the car, rebuilt engine/turbo, new paint job, wheel wells replaced, tranny in perfect condition, no rust (except on the exhaust). Perfect condition minus small amounts of wear on the seats, almost all highway kilometers, never winter driven, it was still running the original exhaust, which I replaced due to corrosion.
Mods so far by me include: APEXi dual chamber BOV, oil bypass shim procedure, re-wired fuel pump, custom exhaust (stock diameter, but not cats, re-used stock mufflers, runs great!).
Mods this year will be: HoseTechniques silicon hose kit, Racing Aluminum Rad (fluidyne or AMCCO?(not sure on the name)), removal of air-pump and AVC, replacement of ABS hydrallic unit with an aftermarket unit, dual alternator pully (not underdriven), aftermarket oil pressure, EGT, and water temp gauges.
It won't be long now and I will be putting it in for a full restoration project interior and all. (I want to get the seats re-leathered and the carpets professionally cleaned, also I want to hunt down all those "little noises" and put them to rest, once that is done I will mod the hell out of the engine!!! [well not really] ).

where are all the S5 TIIs
In the UK by the looks of things
Only 89 - 92s available in the UK.
My freind is selling his 91, in red loads of mods extremly well looked after, just had new clutch, pads, discs and all the paintwork sorted out then he cracked a tip. He has had enough of it and only wants 2000 pounds for it which is 3,236 dollars shame it is in the UK eh!

I feel honored to own an S5 TII. I have I believe the ONLY S5 TII in Alaska. There are several S4 N/As and a couple of S4 TIIs. I feel honored owning such a rare car it amazes everyone and it's basically stock.
