When Throwing Flames
When i am getting on the gas petal and i get up to high rpm's i throw flames because of my straight pipe ....but my question is...when i throw flames a puff of smoke comes out at the same time...flames look cool but is the smoke normal....it only comes out for a brief second...while flaming.....let me know

You shouldn't be throwing flames on acceleration, but in-between shifts. And you must have a blowoff valve venting to the air. This is because you create a rich condition in-between shifts if the fuel is still in the combustion chamber and doesn't get burned until it hits the exhaust (which ignites the fuel). If you are accelerating, the air/fuel mixture should be relatively even so no unburned gases escape into the exhaust.

Sorry thats what i meant...when i let off the gas...like in between shifts...i dont have a turbo so i dont need the bov....so is the smoke normal?
