wheel offset question

I found some Mr2 mark II wheels and tires for cheap, they are 15x6 front and 15x7 rear, both with 45mm offset. If I did my math right the fronts should fit an FC.

Stock FC NA offset 38mm at 15x6.5
MK II offset 45mm at 15x6

the 7 mm difference in offset is eliminated because of the .5 inch(12.5mm) difference in wheel sizes right, thus giving me approx 5.5 extra mm width to work with right.

Someone answer my math

If those numbers are correct, your math should be right.
Half an inch difference is ~12mm.&nbsp Compensate for offset divide by half = ~6mm.&nbsp The offset difference of 7mm is basically negated.

Your numbers may be correct for SOME models and years of FC's but not all. 91 NA Models have 6" wide rims, and a 40mm offset, and I'm pretty sure all Series 5 FC's have a 40mm offset.

I thought all the 15" FC rims were 15x6.5
so the 91 5 spokes are 6? I also thought just the turbo wheels were 40mm offset. That's what's stamped on them and 38 is stamped on my 89 gxl wheels.

Either way the wheels I'm looking at fit.
