Wheel Offset

I am planning on getting some aftermarket wheels(my TII wheels are bent!!! . I am planning on getting some 18X7.5. The offset for them is 40+. Will they work on my TII? Suspension includes Tokico HP Series and Intrax springs, if that makes any difference. Thanks friends.

Try this:
http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html
The inside will be 6mm (.236") @ 1/4" closer to the strut. I would say a spacer would be needed. Then the outer part will move 1/4" plus the width of the spacer. The factory wheel with 225(Certain Brands) will barely fit without grinding. If you move the wheel in further, no dice.

Just my opinion but I think you should go wider if you are keeping performance in mind. At least 8" all around so that you can get a wider profile tire in order to improve the stance of the car. Even better, go 9" in the rear!
