I think I win the guzzling award... I get 7mpg on track, 10mpg around town, and 16mpg highway driving. 16 gallon fillup at 1.90 per, and the best here in Cali is 91 to boot. Oh also half the year here they oxygenate it so it is an effective 90 octane. F__K them. Over 10 psi is stressful... I take Toluene to the track. My gas gauge is broken, so I set the trip meter and I run out of gas at 160 miles on average. Carry a gallon in the car... Oh also for those who don't know if you are turbo get the HIGHEST octane you can and for the N/T's get the LOWEST octane you can. The price I pay for HP....

Hi THANIEL,
I've got the same year car you've got(even the same color), except mines a base model. I've been thinking of getting a Bonez superflow cat.and silencer, how do you like it? Can you tell the difference in HP and how does it sound?

My gas milege was about 14 mpg before I ripped the ECU out and fixed it. I have no cats. I could tell it was running very rich at all times.
The two resisters in the ECU were related to my adjusting the TPS by the 2 light bulb method. If you used this method you probably have blown resisters in your ECU unless you used 1/4 watt bulbs.
My gas milege is now around 20mpg which is pretty good for a TII with 144k miles. Also car seems to have more pep now and a lot less stench. Go fix your ecu's.

Fort Worth to Corpus Christi and back, 880 miles. Got 23.5 with the 87 TurboII and the next week got 26 using the 87 n/a. Strictly observed posted speed limit
. On driving probation. Gotta watch my step. Its not an economy car. Never checked city driving. I know its not pretty and theres nothing I can do about it, so screw it.

VERY dangerous in a rotary... I'm surprised yours hasn't blown yet. Be careful of running it until empty: it'll run a lean condition long before actually stalling, and we all know what happens when a rotary gets too lean...
