Fuel Tank... You'll need to remove the tank, than install your subwoofers than reinstall tank...

DO NOT DRILL

Tell you what, go to a boat place and get some button snaps and some nylon ribbon. Also get some 1/4 inch self tapping screws (if they are not included) Postion the sub where you want install the bottom of the snaps into the floor using the self tapping screws (they should be short enough to not cause a fuel leak) then install two or four more button bottoms into the box then with the nylon ribbon install the snap tops into two or four strips of the nylon. Now you have a clean system hold-down that can be removed easilly for cargo like suitcases, supplies, bodys, etc.

You could just velcrow it down.... Go get the stick on **** from walmart, or sew it to the carpet, and glue it to the box.

Hey if you put the sub as far back towards your seats as they can go (just before your storage bins) youll be fine. I did the same for my box and the tank doesnt go that far back.

Cool

ya knnow what? i suggest you take about four 3and1/2 inch screws, one for each corner of the box and drill them anywhere you want. i've heard about this working very well for some people. and i wish you luck for not even bothering to look under your car or at a FSM.

what you can do is pull up the carpet... unscrew the metal part that covers the fuel pump... then pull that plate up... This will give you a pretty good idea how much room you have.

Really, im crying.................any ways if you had even bothered to go out to your car and look around you would have found the cover for the sending unit that VietFC is talking about. Look under the cover stick a tape measure down there and presto! now you know how far you have till the gas tank! I did this back when I was 16 before I realized that huge systems are pointless. Yep people look at your car with a system, the look at it and think "man what a dumb ***"

have fun and rember measure once cut twice lol

That's your opinion. It's his car. If you barely drill into the hatch floor, you won't hit the tank. You have approximately 4 inches of leeway if I recall correctly from when I installed my fuel pump.

Theres really no need to screw it down man (unless you are worried about someone stealing it). I would go with the velcro idea. That way its easy to remove if you are parking in a bad area anyways and you can just leave it at home.
