400 mmhg when warm on my rebuild @ 850-900 rpm idle. Translates to around 16-17 inches. Only 3K on rebuild w/ Atkins seals. Sound healthy?

Well I know a high vac is good now and all, but from what it sounds like my vac is impossibly high so i'm wondering if its something making it do that.

Lets face it, many of us probably have *some* kind of vacuum leak...TID's are probably the most common source for TII's.

A TID leak will not affect a vacuum gauge reading.

Only leaks that occur after the throttle body will affect the reading, because the gauge would be connected to a manifold pressure reference port. TID leaks affect the operation of the car when the stock ECU is used, different kind of vacuum leak... and one that only really matters with an AFM.
