What you think??

was talking to a guy the other day that knows i work on RX-7's, he said a guy came by his car lot and told him that he had a 1992 Mazda RX-7 that he said the engine was blown out of, the guy came and told me because he knows i love the cars he came and told me that everything was perfect on it the paint was a wine color really really clean it had new tires perfect interior and the only thing they said was wrong with it is that it had a blown engine and i dont know if it does or not the guy only wants 1500 for the car and i gotta go look at it, what do you guys think if its a 1992 and the engine is blown is it worth 1500?? let me know what you think.

It's probably a 91. There was no 92 RX-7 in the U.S. I bought a 91 with a blown motor for $1400 last summer, and after I did the motor it ran well. I replaced ALOT of parts. The car wound up costing about 4K, but it had alot of new parts.I had to change the transmission a few weeks later because 3rd gear went bad, but I got one from my friend for free.

oh ok he said the title said 92 and all, hell it might be a 3rd gen, if thats the case, omg im gonna be so lucky 91 is fine with me.
