what wire do i need to hook up a a/f meter in a S4????

well i got a autometer a/f gauge i hooked it up and it reads rich and lean at the same time so i guess i hooked the wire up wrong...i used a hayens book to find the wire i needed it said yellow green was the O2 wire well then i saw that the knock wire is yellow and green as well...then i notice that the wiring diagram was for a 1988-1991 turbo 2 rx7 ...well the wiring in a s4 and s5 ecu is different...im lost..does anyone have a WIRING DIAGRAM for a S4....i kno theres someone out the that has hooked a A/F gauge

If you connected to a Y/G wire then it's not working. The O2 sensor wire has grey outer insulation but this stops short of the connector and reveals the black wire underneath. Connect it pin 2D as per my diagram.

why are you wasting your time with a narrowband a/f gauge?

Why are you wasting time making comments like this when the pros and cons of narrow band gauges and their appropriate uses have been beat to death on this forum?

Narrow bands are quite useful if you have the knowledge to interpret the reading.
