What type of shocks do you use?

trying to build a racecar

The spring rates I listed are for an FC... but not for road racing, autocross. The rates are high in the rear because I need the car to ROTATE. I've heard those same numbers quoted by a number of qualified sources. ![Big Grin](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I plan to lower the car as much as possible, 2" is just a ballpark figure. Gotta get that CG down. I think the final height will depend more on the amount of camber I can get out of the rear using the adjustable link and the bushings.
(sorry about highjacking the thread)

Well, since they're ERS springs, you can go up to some ridiculous rates like 1000lb/in
Actually, it's funny you mention that, I have a pic from Laguna Seca in the corkscrew, it's very enlightening to see how much deflection there is in the tire..
We'll see, these springs are very simple to swap, just means resetting my corner weights and alignment afterwards.. I just want to experiment a bit![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Oh, the Koni's will handle, according to two IT racers I've talked to, up to 500lb/in rates. Beyond that, you need to have them revalved. I doubt any of the other offerings listed here can handle rates that high.

You'll notice, the top of the tire is fully seated and appears normal. Look at the bottom![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
