What size is......

Anyone know the diameter of the compressor wheel in the stock 13B turbo? How many blades are on the compressor wheel? How about the exhaust turbine?

Thanks

The Inlet diameter Is 2".

There are 12 blades total but they are paired In 2s. So 6 Blades, In opposite directions but paired In 2s.

The Exhaust Turbine has 11 evenly spread out Blades.

This, from a s5 Turbo.

Thanks. Still need compressor and turbine wheel diameters.

Uh, why?
I don't know the numbers off the top of my head, but the compressor wheel has similar numbers (inducer/major) as a Garrett T04B S-trim.&nbsp You can't really compare numbers for differing manufactures cause fin design is totally different, which will change airflow potential.

a 63mm compressor wheel will be 63mm, doesn't matter who makes it. I know the blade deflection can vary, but if I were going to replace a wheel, I need to know what diameter to get so I don't have one so large that it doesn't fit in the housing. I've searched on here and the web and I haven't found anything yet.

Uh, no it's not.&nbsp Yes, inducer and major diameters do matter, but blade design also contributes significantly to the performance.&nbsp If all you're looking at is wheel diameters, you're cannot assume your numbers will work out properly.&nbsp 20% in wheel diameter does not automatically mean 20% more power.

You cannot compare Garrett T04B wheels with Garrett T04E wheels.&nbsp The efficiency is signficantly different...and that's within the same manufacturer!&nbsp Does that mean all the numbers compare favorably with the new Garrett GT-series stuff?&nbsp I don't think so?

Hitachi made the turbos for the TII. What is the diameter of the compressor wheel? I don't know how else to ask it for it to make sense. I just want to know the diameter of the wheel.

Wouldn't the seller to be ( the shop you get a new Compressor Wheel from) be able to provide that Info, considering they should know this kind of Info? ie. In your case.

I'd contact B&R Turbo. I forget his username though...
