Question What should i upgrade next for nice shinny new TII?!

OK this is what i got;
88 TII,
ps, ac, and air pump removed
custom 3" dp
to 2.5" mid pipe
then to single N1
Upgraded fuel pump (walboro)
boost and water temp gauge, as well as HKS timer
K&N intake (no more air box)

Ok so the previous owner said he was running 14 psi of boost, and i find it kinda hard to beleive he said that was what the gauge showed him... It seems to be working fine. I dont know
But any ways what should i upgrade next? I do want power but nothing that will take away from my mpg cuz its already horrible. Should i upgrade injectors? If so what whould i get? Or go with the sweet *** greddy intercooler and add a blow off valve?
You tell me guys,
I HAVE NOW JOINED THE DARK SIDE!!

88 gxl R.I.P
miss it like hell...

get some 720cc secondary injectors.. they're drop in without fuel rail upgrade. A SuperAFC and AVC-R would be good too. You need a fuel controller and boost controller.

Also, I looked at your exhaust setup.. you should just go 3" midpipe since you have a 3" DP and N1.

like he said....go with the 3" all the way....also is there a FCD on there u didn't state it earlier. If not make that a definet buy. Also a S-AFC or emanage will do the trick for controllin....id go with the emanage its about the same $$ and can do a lot more than the afc. Good luck and welcome to the dark side. You have just opened up a never ending money pit....you are now classified as being sick in the head..... as all RX7 owners are.

Holy **** i can already see where this is going...one upgrade leads to the next then the next and so on and so on.. This is gonna be hella expensive
well anyway if i go with injectors id like to know what exactly im going to be adding in hp cuz i mean its obvoiusly gonna add more fuel but wont i also need to upgrade the ignition?? Then defently have to get some form of controling system like the S-AFC
So goin from rx7.com prices (which are kinda expensive)
720cc injectors-$122.72
Jacobs power pro pack-$389
APEX super AFC-349.95
total: 861.00 then shpping i dont know another 20 bucks
Anything else id need?? thatd be kinda major??

Oh yeah and it does have the FCD, and as far as the exaust goes all i can say is that the N1 starts out at 2.5 " so maybe thats why they went with the 2.5 mid pipe

I'm in the same boat as you pretty much. Take a step back and think about what your plans are for the car. If you plan on going full to4 or something like that, then just save up for haltech and don't waste your time with bandaids like the safc. However if you're staying with the stock turbo or hyrbid I think the SAFC should be fine. My reccomendations for your next purchases would be
1. 720cc secondaries
2. SAFC
3. profec B

brand new that would be maybe 800 dollars plus shipping, however if you search around I'm sure you can find a safc and a ebc for relatively cheap. Those are the next steps for my car anyways...

I'm currently working on my new AE, which means I DON'T HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE with the T2's!!

However, you need injectors?

Thanks Dale!!

Boost controller?

Start with a MBC, you can even build your own! Noticed I didn't say build your own MBC from Home Depot\Lowes(search).

Ignition Amp?

Don't waste your hard earn $$$ on the Jacobs!! Get one from Summitracing or Jegs (Crane or MSD).

Happy rotoring

BTW - Concerning the SAFC (Emanage becomes kind of expensive when you start adding up stuff IMHO), listen to Gsracer.
