What should I buy?

Hey I am trying to get alot of money this summer to put into my car. I wanted to know what you guys think I should put on there. I want to upgrade my suspension and rebuild my engine. I need to know what tools I will need for that, and what the best suspension would be. Thanks in advance!

But, if the engine is shot...First of all, if you have to ask what tools you need, you probably don't want to rebuild the engine yourself (unless you don't mind it possibly blowing if you mess up )

Talk to Kevin Landers (RotaryResurrection on the forum), or Kahren (Kahren on the forum ) Kevin does a cheap rebuild, but with good quality. Kahren does good quality rebuilds, costs a good bit more, BUT, if you want a port job..he is the best.

For suspension, if you have the money, definitely go with coilovers. Fully adjustable, can change your ride height for the track/street, etc. Get a set of sway bars, strut bars, etc... www.corksport.com has anything you need. Should get some DTSS eliminators(rear steer), some nice brake pads (Hawk HPS?)

Yeah :O

Its not that its very hard, its just time consuming and you have to be very maticulate and dedicated to wanting to do it right. If your gonna do it i recomend the atkins rotary rebuild video. It shows you how to do it step by step and it will tell you all the tools you need. its like 20 bucks its a little boring though...

you should buy me coilovers and sway bars for my car! LOL

but really, do some reasearch and figure out what you want to ultimatley use the car for.
if its a daily driver i don't imagine you would want the suspension tightened up too much or it would be uncomfortable to drive.

i hear the "racing beat" (www.racingbeat.com) suspension kit is a nice upgrade from factory, comes with springs and sway bars.. lowers the car slightly and stiffens the ride. also look at replacing the factory shocks at this point.... if you have the weird auto adjust suspenison... it makes it a little more difficult to replace them.
