Im planning on getting some gauges for my s4 n/a , one of the gauges i plan on getting is a water temp gauge. I dont know what normal running temperatures run around on, so I was wondering if anyone knows.... most gauges i see measure between 100-250 F or so, but if i need one that runs less then ill get it.
And what is better to use, mechanical or electronic gauges ?
Also think I might get a oil temp gauge, would this be a good idea ? What are the running oil temps ?
The other obvious gauge im getting is the afr gauge.

Id say get a oil pressure before a oil temp. Water should be around 180 at running. As for mechanical versus electric, electrics are very good, plus you dont have to run fluids into your car

stock guages suck.
on mechanical guages, you have to hook up a hose that runs whatever flid you are measuring into the back of the guage. Electrics have a sending unit that mounts under the hood and just a wire goes to the guage.
