What performance upgrades for my Vert?

the best thing you can do is buy a standalone EMS system. Then from that point you can drop a t2/REW/RE/3rotor motor in at any time. You will eventally have to upgrade your drivetrain and fuel system to match the motor and HP goals you plan on running but that stuff has endless options. Step one is EMS. Check the forsale section. Usually someone is selling their setup some times with the wiring harness already terminated. (big plus)

I drive a Vert daily and they aren't slow. I'm comparing my 225HP TII to the 170HP Vert. The Convertible is more fun to drive because of the additional chassis reinforcement, more "connected" feeling to the road, high-reving NA goodness, ulra wide powerband, 0800rpm shifts, top down fun, low wind noise, etc... lightweight drivetrain, ultra-lightweight wheels, a bit more "cart like tossibility", etc.. etc...

If I were you, I would upgrade the suspension (springs, shocks, sway bars, etc.), brakes (rotors and a good set of pads), some bigger wheels/tires, and definitely do the TII swap. It was the best thing I ever did for my vert. If you want a good, quick daily driver I would do a full TII swap (engine, drivetrain, ecu, etc.), get a hybrid turbo, injectors, fuel pump, S-AFC, FMIC, and a 3" exhaust. If you have the money, a standalone is great but its expensive unless you can install it and tune it yourself.
